HISTORY
In November of 1996, a couple of friends decided to start making and bottling the best authentic Mexican hot sauces. They decided to establish in the town of San Nicolás de los Garza, Mexico and always observe two fundamental principles: high quality and great taste. When the time came around to brand their product, they thought of a name that conjures the proud heritage of pre-hispanic Mexican culture and the incredible sensual pleasures of its fantastic cuisine. The magnificent Zapotec culture, which flourished centuries ago high in the Valley of Oaxaca, seemed a perfect symbol. Thus was born the name Zaaschila.
Only the highest quality ingredients are used in the preparation of Zaaschila sauces, tomatillo, jalapeño, orange and green habanero, chile de árbol, piquín and serrano peppers, cilantro, onion and other produce and spices come together in the making of Zaaschila sauces.
Under the hand of talented Mexican cooks who draw inspiration from home-made recipes handed down from generation to generation and bottling Zaaschila sauces as we do we able to deliver to you, wherever you are, the authentic taste of Mexico.
